Adult Prices:
Prices shown are for ONE (1) person aged over 10 years old per booking.
A single supplement of £2 is added for ONE (1) person per booking.
A deposit of £10 is required for each adult booking.
Price is inclusive of breakfast ONLY. A five course evening meal is available at £7 extra per person.

Childrens Prices:
A 50% discount for children is automatically available. If the child is under 10 years of age and sharing a room with an adult. Otherwise adult rates apply for seperate rooms.

Babies under 3 are free, but please let us know so we can provide high chair and cots where practically possible.

Group Rates:
While we are a family hotel, it is possible (subject to room availability) to negotiate preferable group rates. For example: party conferences. Please contact us for details.

Seasonal Bookings:
If you wish to book for Christmas please book early.
Christmas Bookings start from May 1st.

Payments:
Cheques are only accepted by prior arrangement. We accept all major credit cards including: American Express, Visa, Mastercard & JCB. Plus debit cards including: Electron, Solo, Switch, and Maestro.

Financial:
All accomodation & services are offered subject to:

  • Room Availability.
  • The seasonably applicable tariff.
  • Receipt of deposit and/or full payment.
  • A deposit of £10 per person for each booking (or full payment)


  • Under UK consumer law you have a cooling off period after purchasing goods or services. Therefore if you choose to cancel within 7 days of booking any deposits or payments made will be totally refunded to you.

    Deposits are not refundable after 7 days. If you have paid in full any monies will be returned to you MINUS the deposit.

    If we are unable to re-let the accommodation, then the person who has made the booking (or signed a booking form), is liable for the TOTAL COST of the reservation. Minus an allowance for food and service.

    If the deposit has been paid using an authorised credit or debit card account, then any payment due, owing to cancellation, will also be made on this same account by the proprietors.

    All Accounts MUST be paid on arrival and cheques will only be accepted if prior arrangements have been made with the proprietors to allow for bank clearance.

    House Keeping:
    ALL Rooms must be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure.

    You may arrive anytime AFTER 11.00am on day of arrival.

    Meal times are pre-arranged and no allowance can be made for meals not taken. However we are not inflexible and if your arrival is delayed we may be able to rustle up a light snack if the chef is available.

    Smoking policy:
    We appreciate smoking is a contentious issue for many people. Therefore smoking is only permited within the bar area and no other areas. Due to safety and fire regulations, smoking is NOT permitted in your room.

    Responsibilitys:
    The guest is responsible for any loss, theft or damage to hotel property. And for any payments required to repair or replace damaged or stolen items and property.

    The guest is responsible for their room keys. Please notify us promptly if you lose your key. Please Note: there is an additional charge of £15 for the loss of any keys.

    The proprietors do NOT accept any responsibility for loss of guest's property unless handed in for safe keeping.

    We do not provide personal care services to guests (for example assistance with bathing) however we can provide a basic room service for a small charge.

    Guest Behaviour:
    We are a family orientated hotel. If your behaviour, any member of your family, friends or guests is deemed as unacceptable (either to the proprietors, other guests or local residents) then the proprietors reserve the right to amend, curtail or terminate your accommodation. In the unlikely event this happens no refunds will be issued.


    IMPORTANT:
    When booking your holiday you are entering into a legally binding contract, and it is strongly recommended that you take out holiday insurance cover. Even when holidaying in the UK.
